I Found this post about a paper version of the famous enigma machine and I also found this flash version of the same thing. I found that the paper version was easier to learn. The flash version is quicker and better for showing in a lecture just not as fun. The idea of multi steps was never thought of before and todays encryption methods don't vary much.
